Sputnik 04:22
Lie awake at night Waiting for the call Toss those restless pages Skip forward to the end Tell me where I went wrong Point out the fatal flaw What’s their winning secret? How have they won again? Come on let’s start a fire Rage past the stunning loss We can re-write the pages Of everything we’ve done wrong Give me another chance To show you it’s worth the cost We can’t resist the future If we walk away right now I felt your breath upon my shoulder as I slept But I awoke and you were gone I couldn’t see as you escaped into the dark That all’s not lost, and I was wrong That night Night

Sweet-talk your lies into my ear with your secret spin But know that I won’t give in again Know that I won’t give in again Flash all your magic your surprises are nothing new And now that I won’t give in again Know that I won’t give in again You had your chance You’re something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are something that I shouldn’t believe Hold my attention for a moment and then let go And know that I won’t give in again Know that I won’t give in again Cold costly wasteland you’re a dream I don’t understand Know that I won’t give in again Know that I won’t give in again Stay where you are You’re something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are something that I shouldn’t believe We saw a future without flaw But now I see you for what you are For something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are You’re something that I shouldn’t believe Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are Something that I shouldn’t believe, Something that I shouldn’t believe, you are Something that I shouldn’t believe

Pedestals 03:11
I’ll put on some masterful disguise And you’ll applaud No simple thoughts, no swift mistakes Your poster child I told you that we would be ok I said to you, “we will be fine” I wanna be someone who you can get behind I wanna find some way to be your peace of mind Lofted so high I’ll surely fall And break apart Tight-wound enthralling new digest Won’t let me rest I told you that we would be ok I said to you, “one day we’ll be fine” I told you that we would be ok I said to you, “we will be fine” I wanna be someone who you can get behind I wanna find some way to be your peace of mind I wanna be someone who you can get behind I wanna find some way to be your peace of mind I told you that we would be ok I said to you, “one day we’ll be fine” I told you that we would be ok I said to you, “we will be fine”

Astronaut 04:52
Those were the darker days We made it right, made it right So confident in wars I fought to save a life To save your life Thousands of hours paid Paid in flight, paid in flight So stumbling towards new dreams 500 hopes, I am one Now I cannot say a word My throat closed Can you feel my heart race Can you see my surprise Can I ever explain? No I can’t We were the chosen few Set apart, set apart Chosen to chase the stars While they invent the astronaut Consumed by a blinding light All alone, all for naught So tumbling towards new lows I lost your love, I lost your heart Now I may not be the one I suppose Can you feel my heart stop? Can you ever explain? Can we ever return back to normal? They made it so far But my mind to turned to stone As I watched it unfold Now you live as if you don’t know my name Now you live as if you don’t know my name Now you live as if you don’t know my name Now you live as if you don’t know my name Now you live as if you don’t know my name Now you live as if you don’t know my name Can you feel my heart? Can you feel my heart? Can you feel my heart? Can you feel my heart? Can you feel my heart stop? Can you ever explain? Can we ever return back to normal? They made it so far But my mind turned to stone As I watched it unfold I watched it unfold

Apollo 04:03
So far away from the city lights I caught a glimpse of a better life We thought we knew what it was we were chasing We knew that this would be our last chance I was wrong to underestimate you I was wrong to underestimate I was wrong to underestimate you I was wrong to underestimate A distant drop of a subtle blue An ocean far from the site of you We paid our way to the moon at our own risk We found a better home in what we left Before they pull the rug from underneath our feet From under our feet Before they pull the rug from underneath our feet From under our feet I was wrong to underestimate you I was wrong to underestimate I was wrong to underestimate you I was wrong to underestimate

We saw a flash above the Rockies We thought that maybe it was you Stepping outside the realm of history Into the hearts of us below We hoped that this time would be different Our changing fates will keep you safe We must be pulling all our punches underwater To be moving at this pace Tell me that patience is the answer That our frustration’s just a phase Pounding our feet against the pavement Sleepless progress We will make it to the end Hold your head above the water Safely come back home to me Hold your head above the water Safely come back home to me We must be pulling all our punches underwater We must be pulling all our punches underwater To be moving at this pace To be moving at this pace Hold your head above the water Safely come back home to me Hold your head above the water Safely come back home to me

Sidelines 03:57
You gave me quite the scare Waiting for you, waiting for the news That you’d struck water Waiting for you, waiting by the sea Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright You said you wanted hope Said you wanted hope You said you wanted hope Said you wanted hope You said you wanted hope Said you wanted hope You said you wanted hope Said you wanted hope There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies There are nights, there are nights when I fall asleep I fall asleep into the skies Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright Soft light from the never-ending sidelines Hold fast in the morning we will be alright

Pause for a moment Hold your breath Say what you’re thinking There’s nothing left We start ascending According to plan Save all your worries Our day is at hand We felt it explode And take our breath That pressure is something I won’t forget Oh tell me a secret A word divine That we’re gonna make it Just give it time We’re drifting away from all we love We’re drifting away from where I belong

about

Apollo is frustration, anxiety, beauty, struggle and accomplishment; and it pushed us to the limit of what we could do creatively. It is the defining moment in our series of releases that describes life through the metaphor of mankind’s escape to the moon.

We can't say enough thanks to our friends, our families and the community around us who are the real heroes of this record. Everyone involved went far beyond the call of duty to bring this project to life.

We hope you enjoy the tangent we've taken.
